Sophia is from California. Her interest in journalism stems from her fascination for politics. She believes the media can influence real-world change. At school, Sophia is the campus arts editor for her school newspaper and the president of the PERIOD Club, which aims to end period poverty and provide period products to classrooms. She is also an active member of Model UN. In college, Sophia hopes to major in journalism and communications with a minor in history.
