Mohamad is from Massachusetts. Having grown up with an awareness of the political disturbances in the Middle East, he sees journalism as the cornerstone of a well-functioning, informed society. He plays the cello in three orchestras and serves as the president of his school’s debate club and vice-president of the robotics club. He is also a two-time TEDx speaker. Mohamad founded Langbridge Education, a global nonprofit dedicated to providing free, live English courses. In the future, he plans to major in political science and economics and is considering a career in international or corporate law.
