Lily is from New York. Her interest in journalism stems from her belief in journalism as a noble profession, and as a means of disseminating information, uncovering the truth, giving a voice to the voiceless, and fighting injustice and oppression. In school, she acts as the New York DECA Region 1N and DECA Club President, where she represents and serves hundreds of members within the region. In the future, she hopes to work in the museum industry on preserving cultural and historic artifacts, especially in the art field.
