Lesly is from California. She’s been interested in the field ever since she learned about yellow journalism in history class and wants to know more about the positive aspects of reporting. Journalism has the power to change the world by educating people about interesting facts and real-world problems. In school, Lesly was an editor in her newspaper class and now serves as editor-in-chief of her yearbook class. She’s also involved in her school’s Government Council, where she uses her voice to advocate for others.
