Leslie is from Texas. Her interest in journalism stems from a firm belief that knowledge is the key to power and that spreading important information globally is crucial for the improvement of our societies. Currently, she serves as the President of the Crochet Club at her high school and runs her own small business selling her crochet projects. At school, she participates in several student organizations, including DECA, TSA, SkillsUSA, and the Academic Decathlon. In the future, she aspires to pursue a career that allows her to continuously learn about various subjects and use that knowledge for the betterment of her community.
