Jamari is from the District of Columbia. She sees journalism as a tool to use her knowledge to assist others in need and ensure that justice is served on all sides. Jamari participates in the Interact/Rotary Club and the newspaper club at her school, where she’s published two articles in local newsletters. She is also a member of a forensic science club and an envoy. In her free time, Jamari reads a lot of romance, fantasy, and mystery books and enjoys traveling and politics. She plans to travel the world as a columnist, a DNA examiner, or an investigator.
