Charley Locke

Bio/Description

Charley Locke is a journalist living in Portland, Oregon. She often writes about young people and elders for publications including The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post Magazine, and The Atlantic. She also regularly writes for younger readers in The New York Times for Kids. Before freelancing, she produced multimedia stories onstage for Pop-Up Magazine, edited the culture section for Texas Monthly, and wrote about podcasts and photography for WIRED. She grew up in Oakland, California and graduated from Yale University.
