
Brian Rokus is CNN's political coverage manager and a supervising producer in the Washington bureau, where he oversees the network's political desk. He has also covered breaking news ranging from the war in Ukraine to the attacks of September 11, and numerous hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and blizzards. Previously, Rokus was a producer in the political unit and prior to that produced documentaries and newsmagazine segments on topics including Hurricane Katrina, climate change, Tibetan refugees in India, and mine-hunting dolphins. His assignments have taken him from the Arctic Circle to Lebanon to North Korea and he has won or been nominated for more than 30 journalism awards. He graduated from Princeton in 1999 and was managing editor of the Daily Princetonian.
